Guillermo has a highly technical profile combining both a MSc in Electronical Engineering with a specialisation in electronics and control engineering from the Jaume I University in Castellón, Spain as well as an MSc in Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a specialisation in deep learning and computer vision from the International University of La Rioja, Spain. This balance of interest and knowledge between the fields of electronics, computer vision and AI makes him a perfect fit in the team, working on embedded systems development for medical devices and electronics development for medical tools.
As a software engineer in Newborn Solutions, Guillermo puts the pieces together by creating the software for our non-invasive device, Neosonics, and works on the development on the graphic interface of Neosonics.
He has relevant previous work experience in high profile institution like the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland and Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía (ITE) in Valencia, Spain.
Guillermo’s keen interest in artificial intelligent models’ optimisation and development for medical applications makes him a fundamental element in the inner workings and further development of our technology.
