CRISTINA PUCHE, BSC

Cristina holds a Biomedical Engineering degree from Universitat de Barcelona and has experience as a Medical Imaging Software Engineer Intern at the Vall Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR).
Her technical proficiency includes Python (numpy, TensorFlow) and MATLAB. Along with her problem-solving abilities, she possess a strong willingness to learn, and a cooperative attitude towards teamwork. At Newborn Solutions, Cristina assists the Materials area by contributing to the production and characterization of our consumables, specifically hydrogels, while ensuring compliance with MDR standards., she also helps creating phantoms for in vitro testing in order to validate target applications. Moreover, she gives support to the Data Science team by labeling and segmenting clinical data, performing medical image processing tasks, and is involved in training and validating machine learning and deep learning models.
