Alex joined Newborn Solutions while enrolled as an MSc student in Business Analytics at Denmark Technical University. He also did an Erasmus exchange at the Informatics Department of the Technical University of Munich. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid, where he specialized in applying deep learning for intelligent segmentation of objects in images.He gained previous experience as a Data Scientist Intern at Unlimiteck Company Builder S.L., where they developed an automated car damage assessment tool using computer vision and deep learning techniques for insurance claims.
Alex possesses a comprehensive skill set that encompasses various aspects of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and cloud computing.
In Newborn Solutions, he explores the use of digitally generated images in conjunction with the deep learning model, by training a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) model for data augmentation. The aim of this project is to accelerate the device’s validation while maintaining accuracy and reliability.
