THE MIT TECHNOLOGY REVIEW MAGAZINE ACKNOWLEDGES THE INNOVATIVE WORK OF OUR CEO
The prestigious and oldest technology-focused magazine has recognized New Born Solutions CEO, Javier Jiménez, as the Innovator Under 35 of 2016 in Spain. The ceremony took place last October 27th, 2016 at the Fundación Rafael del Pino before an audience exceeding 300 assistants. The recognition was specially significant to Javier who confessed to “feel very proud and honoured given the excellence of the other projects and the incredible talent of the other Innovators”.

EXPEDITION TO MIT
MIT Technology Review is the world leading magazine in the fields of Internet technology, energy, informatics, materials, biomedicine and business. Its mission is to promote the growth and knowledge of emerging technologies and to analyze their commercial, political and social impact. For this reason, the 10 Spanish Innovators finalists were invited to attend the EmTech Conference held at MIT Media Lab. The conference aims at reflecting the most advanced and new technologies that are shaping the future. During the conference, the Innovators got to know a bit more each other but also mingle and connect with presenters, assistants, and other Innovators from other countries.

THE INNOVATION: NEOSONICS
“I would like to introduce you the Neosonics: The first medical device to non-invasively screen for infant meningitis”. This was the sentence with which Javier might have impressed the audience and the MIT Technology Review committee. However, our CEO remarked the fact that “Innovation is about people, not technology”, a clear hint that more innovations will come from the NBS team. Watch the 3-min interview below. New Born Solutions specializes in the non-invasive characterization of superficial body fluids to improve monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of patients with infectious or neurodegenerative diseases. To do so, NBS works with key opinion leaders from reference hospitals, research centers and industry.

WE GOT TALENT!
Esther, Gonzalo, Jordina, Carlos, César, Blanca, Òscar, Luis, Javier H. and Javier J. is the list of the 10 top Spanish Innovators of 2016 but they are not the only ones. Closing the ceremony our CEO stated that “…we need to be proud of our people. We have great ideas because because we are very curious”. As curious as Fernando and Alberto, Myriam and Ignacio winners of the Fundación Rafael del Pino Best Technology-based project of the year in Spain.
