Javier holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, has expertise in Medical Imaging and holds a masters in Business Administration.
After being selected at MIT in a Madrid-funded three-years program (M+Vision) and incorporating NBS he was recognized as the Spanish Innovator under 35 in 2016 according to MIT Technology Review Magazine.
Javier has gained experience in the computer (Fujitsu-Siemens), automotive (Kostal), communications and space (Indra), and biomedical imaging industries (High-Technology Institute and CRC Imaging Diagnostics).
As CEO at NBS he has built a team, national and international industrial, clinical and patients collaborations, accomplished both public and private funding.
Thanks to the accomplishments achieved so far, NBS has been awarded by Philips, Chiesi, Richi Foundation, ImagineIf!, MIT I-Corps, Fundación madri+d, Eureka E!nnoVest and TechTour, CDTI, and ACCIÓ.
