Javier has experience in the computer (Fujitsu-Siemens), automotive (Kostal), communications and space (Indra), and biomedical imaging industry (High-Technology Institute and CRC Imaging Diagnostics).
He was selected in the Madrid-MIT M+Vision Program, where he had the idea that led to the development of the Neosonics, recruited the team composed of Spanish public (Spanish Research Council, University Hospital La Paz, ISGlobal Barcelona, University Hospital Clínico San Carlos) and private institutions (University Hospital Quirón), and the MIT, and secured resources to start the development of the Neosonics. He was also selected in the I-Corps program through the Venture Mentoring Service at MIT and received a grant to conduct market research analysis, resulting in a partnership with a leading industry provider. NBS keeps growing expanding its network and receiving ample support from the Spanish Meningitis Association.
With more than 20 years of experience directing financial departments in multinational medical editorial (MediMedia and Doyma, now Elsevier) and cosmetics companies (Dana, Nova PMP), and seeking for new challenges, Pablo unleashed his entrepreneurial spirit and joined New Born Solutions (NBS).
His motivation and determination is to secure and manage the funding needs to meet the company objectives.
His vast experience in the management of working groups of 30 employees, strategic negotiation with large corporate groups, effective team communication, and project planning is invaluable to the NBS team. Currently, Pablo's main responsibilities involve fund raising, financial planning, accounting, and fiscal, legal and operational control.

Pablo excels in accounting and finances and has accumulated a broad experience since early in his career when he started as an accountant in the food industry (Bimbo) until he became chief financial officer in a multinational editorial in the field of medicine (Doyma and Medimedia, later Elsevier), and leading department and companies merger operations.
His vast experience led Pablo to offer his services as independent financial consultant and to help companies, for instance, in creditor contests to succeed and continue with their businesses.

Quique is a passionate, enthusiastic and successful global health researcher, with 100 peer-reviewed publications in the last decade, that is changing the world for good.
Besides determining the infant meningitis incidence in an endemic region in Mozambique, he was key in the development of the first effective vaccine against malaria, developed new methods to determine cause of death in resource-constrained regions by means of minimally invasive techniques, and is an essential part of the group aiming at the eradication of pian disease in the world.
Mertifully, Quique was honored as one of the ten most outstanding young persons in the world according to the Junior Chamber International in 2012.

As a pediatrician, with special interest in infectious disease epidemiology and public health, Quique intends to combine his clinical work and teaching with biomedical research in those diseases that most affect the poor and vulnerable.

Adelina is a senior Neonatologist and head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit department at University Hospital La Paz (Madrid, Spain), a reference department at the national level.
She has led numerous research studies of the neonatal brain development and hemodynamics involving non-invasive technologies such as Near Infra-Red Spectroscopy or Ultrasound.
As a result, she has accumulated a vast experience in translational research and advising on the applicability or suitability of emerging technologies.

Luis holds a PhD in Physics and has forged his career at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the largest and most excellent public research institution in Spain.
His activities span from teaching in Masters and PhD programs in national and international universities to basic and applied research yielding 58 publications, 51 conference communications, 12 patents and an active participation and leadership in 36 competitive research and industrial projects, which highlights his capabilities to attract both public and private funding to CSIC. In addition, Luis has developed organizational and managerial skills through his role as manager assistant, as principal investigator of 16 projects, and director of 7 thesis.
